Within this last decade, we have all seen an increase in alternative therapies and medications for various minor and cancerous ailments. These include medical marijuana and other holistic methods. While there has been equally proven and debunked case studies, another mode of therapy has been taking hold: a walk in nature.
Like the New Years, we tell ourselves we will be a certain weight by x amount of time or have saved a certain amount of money by x amount of time, and so on. We hype ourselves up over new possibilities to come. The research has been done, the steps to get there are laid out. But we are setting ourselves up for eventual failure. And then we start again, and again, and again.
